When the value of the dollar goes down, tensions rise with trades into currency wars, the currency wars can spiral into real wars.

Too much money going around, will drive shortages and inflation, then the people and governments start devaluing the currency, to get cheaper resources, by process known as „devaluation“.
If they devalued the currency after buying from Iran, it could cause tons of tension.
