    1. From the article:

“Our product has always been human conversation: messy, opinionated, sometimes great, sometimes not, but always real (or at least, really creative writing),” says a post announcing the change. “As AI becomes a bigger part of the internet, we want to make sure that when you’re on Reddit, you know when you’re talking to a person and when you’re not.”

    2. They can put whatever tag they want on me. I’m still not giving them my ID. Even if they told me „verify your ID or be banned“ I’d just leave the site.

    3. A good first step. Next let’s put (likely) country of origin in the profile.

If bots become ineffective, they’ll just double down on using cheap foreign labor to push their propaganda.

    4. Please, *please* implement World ID as an option. It’s entirely anonymous proof-of-human.

    5. Non-human accounts? I demand equal treatment. This is the start of discrimination!

Yeah! And how about we ban all state-paid trolls like all those cockroaches from the FSB in Ruzzia?

    7. I am definitely human. I enjoy human food and human activities like file missing

They can label me as a bot if they’d like. I’m still not sharing any of my personal information with a company like Reddit.

I’m wondering how many replies here will be bots crying about any anti-bot implementations

All while not talking about what was in the actual article

Just get rid of the private profiles. All it does is shield bots and propaganda accounts.

    12. I wish they’d do it already, but on the other hand they won’t because this will hurt their stock

hmm, so accounts that predate ai and modern bots should have less stringent reqs, right?

But not humans are stoplight blind! What’s wrong with that test???

    15. I don’t want to be forced to look for replacement for Reddit but I will if the push comes to shove.
