And then what? Say we temporarily obliterate Iranian energy infrastructure- all that is going to do is propel the average citizen to hate us because now they are suffering. You cannot squash morale and cripple regimes from the air. This was the lesson learned by the US during the second world war and again twenty years later in asia.
Is it really hard to just stop digging the hole deeper?
