    To all people who regretted voting for Trump, you can redeem yourselves this coming November.

    Vote out GOP !

  2. TubeframeMR2 on

    They wanted a wrecking ball and are shocked it didn’t come with a steering wheel.

  3. I think the regret is also setting in that this is the full extent of their movement.

    You have sky high debt, an unstable economy, oil shocks and unemployment due to unchecked automation.

    This is it. All 40 years of conservativism lead to this.

  4. RepulsiveLoquat418 on

    who could have anticipated that „i don’t pay attention to politics“ voters might make bad decisions? if you don’t pay attention, then don’t fucking vote.

  5. Electronic-Chest7630 on

    The only upside to this whole mess is watching the Trump voters predictably get the misery that they voted for and hearing them whine about it.

    I hate that my mom is one of those who keeps doubling down on Trump. I’m worried she thinks we won’t forgive her, and all I really want is my mom to be kinda normal again. Like…just not rabid with hate towards people like me (liberal) would be enough at this point.

    Not really what the article says. It says 62% are still „very confident“ in their vote, and another 21% are „confident“ but have „some concerns“.

    That does not sound like a movement that is ready to start backing the opposition. Those „concerns“ could be specific to certain issues, like Epstein or the war. Or, it could be some people who don’t think he’s deporting enough immigrants.

    The GOP isn’t going to be defeated by convincing maga cultists to switch their votes. It’s going to be defeated by motivating people who sat out 2024 because they weren’t excited about Biden or Harris to get out and vote.

  8. My boss has figured out we’re slow again, just like 2016-2020, but still won’t come to terms with WHY. „We don’t rely on Iran for oil“ is what he said the other day. Cause and effect being a foreign concept to a business owner is scary.

    these stats are clear indication that MAGA base could be „deaf and mute“ with Trump doing anything and everything, but if it only „impacts their life“, they seem to show a little concern. They have no morals, ethics, empathy or long term plans.

    Here are the percentages of 2024 Trump voters who disapproved of him in each of these areas:

    * Overall: 22%
    * Immigration: 15%
    * Foreign affairs: 25%
    * Iran: 28%
    * Economy: 30%
    * Inflation: 39%
    * Gas prices: 45%

    The fucked thing is, if you don’t welcome and coddle these selfish fucks, they’ll turn right back to him just to spite you.

    There is no redemption for any person that voted, or didn’t vote at all, this waste of oxygen into office

  12. Sad_Locksmith_2904 on

    If only there was some way we could have known that Trump is a narcissistic domestic terrorist and absolute moron

  13. To late. I know exactly the type of person they are. The fact they only regret it because it’s affecting them personally? Even more telling.

    (Plus I already know that next election they’ll forget allllll about their regret and vote again against humanity)

  14. Remember that time people were literally shot dead at his rally and he never talked about them or offered any condolences?

  15. Maybe the next Republican will be more precise when making people suffer… as long as it’s the “people that deserve it”… right MAGA?

  16. BasisTraditional3650 on

    Dont care. They deserve everything coming their way. I hope they lose their homes, jobs, security everything. Just like what trump has done to me.

  17. No matter how bad it gets they’ll still vote for whoever the next candidate is that has „R“ next to their name🤷🏿‍♂️

  18. These people have the nervous system of a single celled organism and the response time of a mentally handicapped sloth. It’s going to take way more for them to even consider coming around. And if they do it’ll only be for 1-2 terms of the next DNC president until they’re ready for someone to come in and „fix“ the economy

  19. Motor_Somewhere7565 on

    Reading these particular headlines will never cease to frustrate me between now and 2028. Like, it shouldn’t have been hard to stop this from happening, but voters falling for it AGAIN showed otherwise

  20. YourShowerCompanion on

    Frack em all.

    They’ll be expecting miracles from next administration in its first year. With almost all news outlets soon to be under Trump buddies, that won’t happen.

    They’ll get back to what they do best; being MAGAtáds

  21. I have a friend who told me he’s officially out on trump after the Epstein files and this Iran war. But guess what won’t suprise me, when 2028 comes and he votes republican again

  22. TemporarySun314 on

    Like americans in 2020 regretted that they made him president. Still they reelected him 4 years later.

    And im sure Americans would manage to reelect him or some other fascist 4 years later after a democrat takes over again…

    Because in the end Americans like the fascist ideology, they just dont like the optics of it and if it affects them negatively. And luckily for the fascists americans forget about these negative sides after a few years.

  23. The only regret MAGA voters have is that the hateful policies they voted for to affect others is now affecting themselves.

    That is the extent of their civic involvement.

  24. ProfessorWC on

    Too little too late. Cut em all out of your life and never speak to them again, it makes your life objectively better.

  25. I’m SO happy when people turn against Trump.

    But I admit, it also kind of makes me mad.

    * He raped a bunch of women? *No problem.*
    * He raped kids? *No problem.*
    * He stole secret documents, then lied about it, trying to hide it? *No problem.*
    * He actively covered up foreign influence on our elections? *No problem.*
    * He used our government to attack his personal enemies? *No problem.*
    * He literally tried to overthrow our government? *No problem.*
    * He treats any immigrant as if they are inherently evil, abusing and causing untold suffering and misery? *No problem.*
    * He ignores and then bungles Covid, causing countless deaths? *No problem.*
    * And on and on and on. (This list could be 10,000 bullet points!)

    But apprently

    * He causes a spike in gas prices. *THAT’S A PROBLEM!!! That’s MY money I’m spending!!!! Down with Trump!!!*

  26. Th3_Dark_Knight on

    The fact that gas prices are the primary lens so many people regard a piece of shit like Donald Trump is infinitely depressing.
