      He’s a sanseito supporter too.
Too many patriotic influencers lately spreading hate against foreigners. It’s because of them that people like this guy exist.
When the newest first came out they spread the news that a foreigner did this. When it turned out to be a Japanese. And a sanseito supporter.

Because we all know: the best way to raise the issue of foreigners setting fires in the streets is the be a Japanese dude that sets fires in the streets.

    5. Was in a snack bar last night when this happened. The men around me all agreed it would not be a Japanese man who did this and must have been a Chinese or other foreigner. Would love to know their opinions now.

    6. Expect more of this, as long as Japanese media normalizes Japanese exceptionalism and xenophobia

Go figure, conservative grievance politic is the same across the board, dependent on blaming a small minority for social and economic macro issues, then getting pissy and violent when that doesn’t magically fix all the underlying issues. It’s why conservatism depends on an ignorant pile of chuds, cause it’s never fixed shit and leads to this crap.

    8. Given this is international I wonder how much of this is just the insane communicative environment with SNS vs economics.

Like we had stuff like this on the internet before, just not big enough o really be an issue. Young men going down counter culture rabbit holes thinking they uncovered some hidden truth, thinking they know better, when it really is their thought process is so obscure and insane people do not have the time. Definitely me in high school. I grew out of it, but beginning see many friends didn’t. Now with so many more kids getting sent down these rabbit wholes people are getting more and more extreme with it.
