if this truly happened back then, an artemis mission to send people on a flyby of the moon shouldn’t even be a headline in 2026.

    2. It is cheaper as a percentage of the federal budget. It’s not faster because the physics hasn’t changed. And it’s not easier because a 50/50 shot of your astronauts dying is no longer acceptable

Apparently the case is that since 1969 they kind of stopped caring about sending people to the moon so they forgot how to do it by now

Nah. None of any tech is cheaper and easier to reproduce, therefore we have endless artificial inflation /s

They’re doing fascinating things in motion pictures nowadays, I don’t know what you’re talking about.

I can barely pick up clear channel radio months out of the year, 50 miles from the source… but, brb, flying drones on mars…lollllll

    7. It is faster, cheaper, and easier to reproduce. But even still it’s extremely difficult and expensive.

That should tell you what a feat this was.

They’ll release a book about this being faked in about 30-40 more years when all of us who were actually around during that time are long gone and make even more money off of this.

      Watch.

With a straight face people try to say that hunk of junk landed on the moon. 🌕 😆

    10. The soviet who undoubtly spent a lot of money into spy network and yet they didn’t say anything. And no one want to embarassing US more than the Soviet.

And here some youtubers think they are smarter than them.

    11. Bankrupting the Soviet Union was the only incentive for the Apollo mission; now, there is no need. I have a particular disdain for moon landing deniers because they assert that humanity was incapable of completing such a mission and even today. To prove their point, they use bogus sources or flawed reasoning. „Buzz Aldrin didn’t swear on the bible“, „What about the Van Allen Belt?“.

When China starts mining for Helium-3 on the moon, America is going to start sending people to work on plantations on their lunar colony. It will be such a capitalistic hellscape that people will be wishing the moon landing was fake.

…do people actually think like this?

Artemis II is testing all sorts of shit: newer life support systems, thermal shielding technology, manual vessel control, etc. that didn’t exist in 1969 or existed to lesser extents.

Im an engineer in semiconductor… I feel like the super cool stuff I see every day would blow the minds of people who think NASA is trying to prove that they’re able to land on the moon. Like come on guys…

you can’t do it without Indian Technicians and Indian scientists. Period.

    14. Jesus Christ you deniers can’t be serious. I’m sorry the world isn’t as mysterious as you hoped it’d be. But we need you to tune into reality now please.

that’s like saying we haven’t had the technology to go supersonic with a commercial jet since the concord is no longer flying… there is a certain other factor that runs the entire world that you have to ignore in order to think this way 💵

    16. I thought people already had seen/heard this.

Basically they did that because of their space race with Soviet since both of them having superior complex so they will do anything to achieve it faster than the other one. And today, we have bigger fish to fry, we have more important things other than going to the moon for fun, they cost too much resources and basically a pretty dangerous mission altogether.

Now America, or any other countries fight for oil, minerals, jews for some reason, and technological improvement, one of them is microchip technology. So going to the moon nowadays is stupid, complete waste of money

    17. They recorded the Super Bowl over the most valuable telemetry data in human history.

Can you go and build a brand new 1969 Corvette stingray?

Or how about going and building a brand new Model T from scratch?

Here comes the defenders of the matrix again. Moon landing posts always bring them out. We never landed there and never will

In the 60s, the US government basically told numerous massive companies to stop their standard manufacturing and build components for the Apollo program. In exchange for huge bags of taxpayer money companies like General Electric, General motors, Westinghouse, Douglas Airline Company, IBM, Whirlpool, Goodyear, and many more did exactly that. They halted or massively cut back their primary manufacturing to work together to make parts for the Saturn V rocket.

Never before, or since, have so many companies (many in competition with each other) allied themselves in such a way. This is the reason the Apollo program has not been replaced or repeated in such a long time.

Can someone explain why risk human lives to fly by the moon when walking on it was achieved 57 years ago? What is the achievement here and why humans were necessary for a test mission? I am not implying anything, this is just a honest question.

Isn’t there like a laser or something they put on the moon that can literally verify beyond doubt they were there?
