Looks like it engages and disengages afterburner a couple of times, and then uses flares a couple of times which this footage shows are VERY effective against the tracking system as it immediately autofocuses the flares

How often have missile locks like this happened in other wars we’ve been in? I never thought it would be happening so often. Is it usually the case that the jet is able to spoof the tracking or survive the hit? Or are SAM missile locks a common occurrence but jets have more survivability then I was expecting?
