With the amount of claims they have done, I’ll like to claim I shot down a F-35 too!

If verified, this pilot died to help a president cover up and distract from the epstein files.

I’m aware that a lot of Redditors really want Iran to stick it to the US, but repeatedly posting silly articles like this isn’t going to get you what you want.

Looks like F15 wreckage. It’s certainly not F35.

That’s an F15 not an F35.
DoubleQuarterPoundin on
Anyone even remotely aware of the tech of these F-35s knows no third-world country could touch one.
It’s that absurd, really.
And no, I don’t support this war and wish people would stop getting killed.

Iran hasn’t managed to shoot down 1 yet, but hey sure maybe they hit a second.
Though the tail is from an F-15 from RAF Lakenheath….
ClearlyCylindrical on
That’s an F15 tail for one, but I’d expect them to have shown the full fuselage if they were to shoot anything down, so I assume the rest of the plane made it back to base.

They are citing a story that is breaking top headline news reported by Reuters.
Looking at those pictures, the debris has the words „in Europe“ printed in low visibility (gray on gray) on what appears to be a vertical stabilizer. At the end of that piece, the tip is red.
From some internet searches, the planes out of RAF Lakenheath carry a „subdued“ logo of „United States Air Forces In Europe.“ Those words are contained inside of a graphic scroll. ([https://media.defense.gov/2022/Apr/20/2002990231/1200/1200/0/220416-F-TO545-1183.JPG](https://media.defense.gov/2022/Apr/20/2002990231/1200/1200/0/220416-F-TO545-1183.JPG))
The 48th Fighter Wing has four fighter squadrons. They are distinguished by the color of the tips on their vertical stabilizers – blue, yellow, red and green. The red tips are the 494th Fighter Squadron „Panthers.“
Note that the red stripe in the Mehr picture has the small white band above and below it, consistent with the picture.
The 494th, at one point, had F-15E Strike Eagles. They were transitioning to the F-35A planes and I don’t see updated information regarding whether that transition was complete. This wreckage appears to closely resemble a F-15E vertical stabilizer.
Edit to add: One of the other Mehr pictures shows the end of a metal edge with alternating yellow and gray colors. That pattern and location appear to closely resemble the wing tip of the F-15E in the link included above. (https://x.com/MehrnewsCom/status/2039933831248252948/photo/3)

F35 – doubt
F15 – maybe
Technically they can’t shoot down another F35, as they have only damaged one,so far.
The Kuwait Air Force has a better kill ratio on US planes than the Iranians.

Even if this was true, which it doesn’t seem true, what does it say thay its world news when Iran can even touch one or two of our planes? Like they’re halfway across the globe and using every arms they have remaining and all they can claim as a positive spin is that they hit one of our planes once, maybe twice at best? Sure they’ve hit some of our closer bases and hit civilian centers of allied Arab nations. But the haters will act like this is some big win

See, this is why we can’t have nice social programs! We need to spend tens and hundreds of millions of dollars for planes that shouldn’t even be operating in that area! See! See!

In turn, Reuters is citing the Mehr news agency.
Mehr has posted a few pictures of parts, [https://x.com/MehrnewsCom/status/2039933831248252948/photo/1](https://x.com/MehrnewsCom/status/2039933831248252948/photo/1)
