Lawmakers vowing to do things is my favorite genre of fiction. It’s right up there with The check is in the mail and This meeting could have been an email.

Until there are actual punishments for perjury, it’s all just a clown show. No second chances, no oopsie poopsies if you lie and confirm the lie and are proven wrong then actual jail time. I’m not talking about slight discrepancies or anything but simple questions with simple answers that the person answering is clearly lying (Alex Jones is a very recent example)

Bond isn’t unemployed. She is only one of the puppetmasters. She will get a new title, hide behind the curtain, like she is the Wizard of Oz . She is no Kristi Noem. Her secrets are WAY more valuable. Don’t underestimate that woman.

Good, her getting fired is just her attempting to escape responsibility. She has done her job stonewalling congressional enquiries.
