You’ve got to love Russian PR and its non-intersection with journalistic integrity. But in this rare case, *both* can be right.

The Russians say that the plane crashed due to a ‚technical malfunction‘. Eyewitnesses say that it flew into a cliff. I would bet that experiencing a 200G+ deceleration into a rock face would cause most any airborne parts (gauges, engines, fuel or electrical systems, etc.) to malfunction.

Glad nothing is all right with all those on board.
