So you can play the system in the US, but not in Japan essentially. Not sure it puts Japan in a bad light here.
I’m sorry it happenned to him, but holding the US up as a positive comparison like that is insane. If a foreigner gets caught bringing illegal drugs into the US right now they probably end up disappeared into some god awful concentration camp under the control of ICE agents that can abuse them however they want with no oversight whatsoever.
Maybe not the best argument for the situation. lol. “In America, you are legally allowed to take medications for your mental health that are not legal in Japan.” ¯_(ツ)_/¯
