It feels like a stretch to take offense from this; I seriously doubt he meant lifespan. I understood his meaning as “I can wait until they’re not yelling and I’ll still be here”.
I don’t think we need to imagine a world where our PM is insulting a group of mercury-poisoned people by claiming he will live longer than them. What a horrible lens to see the world through.
This is stupid, somebody disrupting the Prime Minister could be screaming about literally anything from chemtrails, to their uncles immigration file to civil servants returning to the office.
The probability the Prime Minister will guess correctly is and be able to respond in a manner the disruptors approve of is extraordinarily low
