      I think from 1st january this year you can have zero or partial feed in systems (as opposed to previously where they had to be part of net metering). Basically either never feed in excess energy to the system, or partial feed in where there is a smart inverter that only feeds in excess when appropriate.

      This would be very good. I’d love to get one a system like this. I have previously looked at bringing one over from Germany. But it’s bulky and illegal.
