smart move – the „US regime“ can no longer be trusted as sad a statement as that is to make

the UK, EU, UN and what is of NATO need to insulate themselves from the madness

this man was never to be trusted. dear maga – I hope you fully realize this now – America already had elements of greatness – now look what it’s become under your dear leader

  2. >American officials seconded to UK Government departments are now being asked to leave meetings which discuss sensitive information

Holy fuck! That’s what it’s come to. Thanks MAGA and Trump

Trump criminal organization is an unreliable partner. The USA can no longer be trusted. Thanks for nothing republicans!!!

  4. Understandable. The UK and the EU should get back together. In the EU they can have a seat at the table among equals, while their status in a relationship with the US will always be that of an underling. If rejoining isn’t possible for whatever reason, then we should at least return to a closer relationship through other treaties.

  5. And Trump won’t be able to reply in kind because he doesn’t have any intelligence to withhold.

  6. “Officials fear British secrets will not remain classified as the US President has ’no compulsion about screwing over allies‘.”

If we can’t trust our government, we certainly shouldn’t expect anyone else to.

  8. Thank god. They should have started doing this as soon as Trump was elected the second time.

The US government has made it abundantly clear that they can’t be trusted in any way shape or form. So yeah – this is what you get. You can’t give everyone the finger and then expect them to be friends.

The US national security strategy aims at destroying EU and regime change in European countries through supporting far-right anti-democratic forces that align with Russia.

Former allies must start treating USA as the enemy before its too late.

Its just a couple of months ago Danish troops were digging in Greenland ordered to blow up runways and shoot first in case of an American invasion.

UK is doing the only sane thing.

Well I would say they are just being more open about it…

Trump is completely untrustworthy and likely to intentionally damage the UK

If we hear about it now, it means they’ve been doing it for quite some time.

If choosing to inform the US actually means informing US, Israel, Russia and then Iran why would you?

Sounds like the UK maybe doesn’t want to also share intelligence with Russia. Smart move

Inevitable. As a Brit, we’re talking about a country that is actively regarded as an emerging threat to many European allies, not least Denmark.

How can the UK have a sensitive conversation about European security with Americans in the room, when the US is actively trying to dismantle or disrupt European security apparatus? You might as well have an Iranian, a Russian and a Chinese in the room with them.

„So, Mr Bond, don’t involve the CIA in this operation. We dont want leaks.“ „Of course not, Sir“

  17. Good, we should be doing that. Every country should. We shouldn’t be sending the King to visit either. The USA is not an ally, it’s an adversary.

  18. I am not happy for the USA to be arrogant about the illegal war they started against Iran, and then tell allies to go get oil through the Strait of Hormuz. We must sideline them from our intelligence gathering. Remove US presence from all Australian bases, including Canberra Deep Space. The USA has given us grief with increased fuel costs, inflation and their stupid tariffs.

  19. Only just now? If this was my friend circle, that person would have not been told anything personal starting ten years ago. And my secrets are nothing spectacular.

He has no use for intelligence anyway, he tries to avoid any intelligence like it’s a plague.

  21. We also can’t keep on financing his corruption. His market manipulation hit everyone of us. Not just Americans. That’s unacceptable.

Probably good news, Agent Orange would probably pass it onto Dobbie the house elf.

I would bloody well hope so. At this point we need to consider every part of the US government compromised and that all the secret information is being made available to the highest bidder / state actor with the most kompromat.
