>“(Ma) joined, he said, because he was guided by the values of building up others, delivering results — he’s a results-oriented individual — and choosing the path that creates opportunities for Canadians,” Carney said.
>“These are fundamental Liberal values, fundamental Canadian values and that’s why Michael Ma has found a home in our party.”

Canadians should be very uncomfortable with both Ma and Carney. This is disgusting.

Carney said he agreed that slave labour and genocide is a problem everywhere. Strong words, the equivalent of “all lives matter” a few years back.

Trump is an evil nut who started a pointless trade war with us and threatened to make us a „51st state“, that is true.
That does not at all absolve Xi Jinping and the People’s Republic of China being an evil hostile foreign state that interfered in two Canadian federal elections, threatened Chinese Canadians on Canadian soil, targeted MPs Chong and Kwan, interfered to promote MP Dong’s nomination, Candidate Chiang threatened Candidate Tay, We Chat interfered in the recent election, CSIS and the Foreign Interference Inquiry flagged China as the largest threat, NSICOP warned of compromised MPs, while our federal government twice voted agaisnt the inquiry and withheld documents from Justice Hogue.
China has violated Canada’s sovereignty and any form of China apologia is still just as treasonous back in 2025, 2024 and 2023.

We were watching a documentary about down syndrome children and my mom who is 89 now (Chinese) said „oh we don’t have children like that in China“. Michael Ma saying what he says reminds me of my mom. There are a lot of Chinese people with their head in the sand when it comes to China’s human rights atrocities. That or he is bought off by the Chinese. Or a little of both perhaps.
