Das Foto ist alt, aber ein ähnliches aktuelles Beispiel für einen auffälligen Unterschied in der Sprache veranlasste mich, es auszugraben.
Solche Beispiele und der tägliche Kampf gegen alle Arten von Unterdrückung oder zumindest die Erwartung der Unterwürfigkeit des polnischen Volkes gegenüber dem Staat und der Unternehmensbürokratie gehen mir auf die Nerven, wenn ich auf all diese YouTube-Videos oder Kommentare von Ausländern stoße, insbesondere mit rechtsgerichteter Ausrichtung, die das Land als eine Art Paradies preisen.
Ausländer, vielleicht profitieren Sie gerade von unserem postkolonialen Komplex.

As a trained translator – it’s funny and I get your point, but this is not a horrible translation imho. „Uwaga“ is how you announce things in Polish – good and bad. „Caution“ does not work well here, and „dear guests“ seems context-appropriate and an acceptable compromise erring on the side of kindness. It’s fine.
I think you’re overly sensitive. I don’t see an issue with the text, especially that it’s written in similarly nice tone. How would you translate uwaga? Attention probably but it sounds dry. Uwaga is just an everyday word and it is very neutral.
