    1. Wow, what a news! Never happened that Russia threatened nearby countries during this war /s

There has been opinions spreading in Russian media on how the Ukrainian drones were launched from Finland. And as “proof” they point to the couple of drones that veered in to Finland.

    3. As I do not think this would stand for Belarus, they could directly say NATO country. This would be the same and show how pathetic they are

So Russia thinks that any nation allowing Russian overflights to attack Ukraine and allowing another country to use it’s territory to launch attacks is a legitimate target?

Belarus must be delighted, given that they’ve been overflown so many times that everybody has lost count and they allowed the Russians to launch attacks at the start of the war. They are a fair target then?

      No?

Back to the status quo we are then.

Considering Russia moved most radars off the Finnish border, this seems like an empty threat.

The term ‘Respond’ hardly would mean them attacking directly such countries but rater using their airspace to target Ukranian drones.

    7. There is obvious way to respond:

We are not allowing Ukraine to use our airspace ! They just do it.

Ukraine don’t use our airspace !!!! Wink wink .

    8. Go on. We will respond in kind.

A friendly reminder to Russia. You don’t have capacity to defend against us. Hugs. Finland.

Put the cap on the vodka bottle and stay  sober for a week.

Any attack against the Baltics will inevitably bring in Finland as well. Probably Sweden too. I just don’t see a universe in which they stand idly by and let something like that happen, NATO or not, Article 5 or not.

That is exactly what Russia needs right now – adding the armies and air forces of Poland, the Baltics, Finland and Sweden onto the other side of the ledger.

This is either the emptiest of all empty threats ever issued, or the dumbest move in the history of warfare.

How many times is he going to invade the Baltics again? I can think of at least six ..

    11. To be fair that is not entirely unreasonable by Moscow, in fact it can be considered proportional. By all means they should follow through and execute their threat ASAP.

Hopefully we can also be proportional.

Im am reminded of a quote from an old book about World War 2. It went something like this:

*the Japanese began a propaganda campaign to convince the world they had far more airplanes than they had. That the allies believed this was a success. That the Japanese public also believed it was a miracle. That the Japanese government began to believe it, was a disaster*

    13. Is it that time of the week already. Did I miss the weekly nuclear threat.

Russia really, I mean, like REALLY wants Europe to enter the war?

Europe has fighters. And fighter-bombers. And missiles (like storm shadows). And, most importantly, an army.

Russia really hasn’t thought this through too well have they?
