It’s a beautiful country. Sadly, Kiribati’s Kirimati is overshadowed by French Polynesia’s Bora Bora, which I find overrated. Mo’orea is another beast, which actually gives FP the edge for wealthy tourism. We need to reach a middle point for these economies to not be completely dependent on tuna fishing, as per Joseph Stiglitz.
