Well…I don’t even know what to say. This is clearly a circus show. Short term Choices being made with gut instinct and no forethought or long term strategy

When you go to war without any goals and just hope for a possible way out

Lol so basically this war just made Iran stronger and thats it. Trump gave them leverage they didn’t know they had and now the rest of the world has to pay for his mistake. Awesome!

Hmm, the straight was open before the war so what we the goals here to begin with?

  5. Wow.

    Just wow.

So we killed a bunch of Iranian government figures, destroyed their minimalist navy and about 1/3 of their missiles.

In exchange we lost 13 American lives, millions in pricey equipment, billions in operational costs, reduced our stock pile of interceptors, effectively forfeited control of the Strait to Iran, and we get $100/oil and $5/gal gas.

And China has learned the admin can’t stand the financial markets pain of a prolonged conflict.

  6. This bro needs to fly away from presidency ASAP. Every move is just handing over the advantage to adversaries. Zero coherence and sanity, god forbid any strategy.

I wouldn’t take a single thing trump says seriously right now. There’s been all this talk of victory and we are finished but the US keeps flying in more assets and ground troops to the area.

That’s a weird way to admit defeat, I’m not going to lie.

Unless of course the mission is to destroy civilian infrastructure in Iran.

He’ll say something else in five minutes (and then perhaps the same thing five minutes later), but combined with Leavitt’s statement that Trump may ask the Gulf states to pay up for America’s “service” this is genuinely hilarious.

Art of the deal, don’t worry guys he’s laying 6D chess. I don’t think I’ve seen a US administration help Russia more. Did anything about this conflict help US interests?

Just come back home before we embarass ourselves more. It is clear that there is no path to the ideal mission.

Declear victory and go home is the best possible outcome for US. Provided that Iran would play along and stop striking its bases. It leaves defecto control of Hormuz with Iran without acknowledging strategic defeat, letting US spin the story for domestic audience, and allies and competitors to sort out energy security on their own terms. A soft landing of sorts for the unipolar moment.

  14. Pearl Harbor turned out to be an apt comparison. At this rate Iran is going to conquer us within the year. (Exaggeration.)
