      Sucks that she is injured and that this will hurt production for hundreds of people.

      I wished that this was a movie and starring someone with more charisma and stage presence than Turner.

      She probably saw the reaction just from the stills and knew she didn’t want to do another Dark Phoenix.

      Still looks like a child playing dress up. Definitely not the Tomb Raider I grew up with.

      Yikes. This isnt on any of my highly anticipated lists or anything, but having invested major time in the OG and new games I would like to see it succeed.

      Stuntwork is getting out of control these days, hate the thought of a beloved actor or crew getting hurt going overboard on a stunt that isn’t even needed

      They should’ve committed to an Alicia Vikander franchise.

      Don’t get me wrong, the Angelina movies were campy fun, and the Alicia Vikander movie was mid. But, Vikander had potential to grow a franchise with the recent & fantastic games paired with an amazing actress.

      I hope Sophie heals up, no shade there, but there is no chance she can lead this franchise.

      I am looking forward to this movie as I loved the original 3 & the newer 3 released rebooted series. Movies however have been meh to me.

      They say minor but back injuries can be more serious than initially thought. I know from experience.

      Hopefully it is minor and production resumes shortly.

      Ouch, I feel sorry for her. Hope she recovers. On a sidenote, I feel like she was a miss-cast for Laura, but I guess I can’t judge until I watch it.

      Never saw Sophie turner as Lara Croft, definitely saw Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft though 100%

      In before GameStop posts a Tweet saying that she likely got injured because her titties aren’t big enough.

      It’s always going to be a challenge getting non-action actors to film action sequences

      This is why, having worked in the entertainment business for a long time, I have always been against actors doing their own stunt work, one injury stops paychecks to a lot of people. I do acknowledge there are certain actors where that is part of the marketing appeal and general appeal of the film so I have an uncomfortable carve out for them.

      She looked scared in some BTS shots, which doesn’t tend to bode well for physical security.
