Iran is recruiting children as young as 12 to “defend the homeland” in a new nationwide campaign for the US-Israeli war.
The “Defenders of the Homeland Iran” plan, announced last week by a senior official in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corp (IRGC), calls for children 12 and above to volunteer for “operational, support, logistics, and checkpoint patrol” activities.
Registration booths have been set up at mosques and major city squares across Tehran, with similar campaigns expected in other cities.
Just days after the new recruitment campaign was launched, an 11-year-old boy was killed in a drone strike at a military checkpoint in Tehran.
The Basij Teachers Organisation confirmed that Alireza was killed “while on duty”, performing security tasks in a war that has already claimed nearly 1,600 civilian lives.
Alireza’s death highlighted concerns about the IRGC’s recruitment tactics for wartime security operations and its manpower problems.
His mother told the state-affiliated Hamshahri newspaper about the “personnel shortage” that led her husband to bring their son to work.
We don’t seem to be doing a good job of not targeting them anyway.

This fact alone proves that Iran sees the situation as an existential threat. The US and Israel dont have the balls to send even their professional armies, scared of the political consequences. Bombing them only created more future fighters who hate the west.

Recently, an 11 year old boy died while working in a checkpoint alongside his father due to shortage of regular personnel.
For Iran, this is nothing new. During the Iran-Iraq war in the 80’s thousands of Iranian children were sent to the frontline.
Look what Germany did in 1945 with child soldiers. No different. It’s a sign of desperation.
The US President fucks people younger than that.

Iran is just all types of awful. It’s been for over 40 years. This was was coming sooner or later. Better now than when Iran has nukes.

Obviously, Iran is wrong to do this, but anyone with a knowledge of history knows they would, and the US fired everyone competent who would stop the administration from bumbling into this cluster.

This signals a different type of culture or desperate times. For example, in the later stage of the European part of World War 2, Germany would deploy Hitler Youth to defend the homeland as there was nobody left to allocate to inscription.
