    1. I mean it works at least against these kinds of drones. And you get to keep the intercepting drone at least some of the time.
Wonder if some unit is trying to be more economical or they just don’t have too many drones to spare for single use attacks.

I can see how this might be a cheaper and simpler method for hunting drones without needing things like explosives attached to it. The margin for error to successfully do this seems like it would be much smaller though.

Yeah so like I assumed in my [previous comments on another post](https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/Ny5KSIgcB1).

The whole point of these FPVs is literal aerial jousting. Cheap and possibility of reusing their drone against multiple others helping them save costs.

These might force the Ukrainian’s hands into having to armor those foam board wings. Considering this thing looks like it’s purely designed to target the soft spots and rip the plane apart with the impact of getting hit or forcing it into an unrecoverable stall.

Interesting footage. So it seems that the previous video wasn’t actually an interceptor drone failing to explode – stabbing them is literally the mechanism of action.

I wonder if they’re trying to make these reusable? Seems sketchy because quadcopters fail with basically ANY rotor damage. And explosives are cheap.

I wonder if the purpose of these is to abduct the enemy drone for reverse engineering?

And the best part is, no one got killed. Why can’t we just have contests instead of slaughtering each other??
