This will last as long as Israel and the US want to play army.
I think It will end when Israel decides. So for a while this will go on.
Seems like it will be over when iran has no more reason to mine the strait and blow up ships traversing it.
Starmer may be unpopular in the UK, but he’s certainly handling this particular situation well and not bowing to pressure from Trump.
The first year of Trump 2.0 was 10 times worse for the world than his entire first term, and the second year is turning out to be 10 times worse.
We aren’t even through the first quarter and he already has more wars lined up after this in Latin America. I’m even more worried about next year because that $1.5 trillion 2027 Pentagon budget is clearly meant to be budgeted for some big reasons.
Trump isn’t going to back down, he’s just going to continue to escalate. The Iranian regime has nothing to lose they will fight to the last man. Even if the war ends tomorrow it will be months, if not years before things get back to normal.
But every other US war ended in a quick American victory!
Probably once its provided enough cover for the genocide of the Palestinians to be completed.
If we are all talking about Iran then no-one is talking about Palestine and that’s just how Isreal likes it.

Everything points to further escalation of the conflict.
Even if the war stopped tomorrow and the movement of trade restarted without issue, the infrastructure damage, production delays etc etc… the economic fallout is going to be huge.
