      one of those maps where the colors are doing all the talking and none of it is saying anything good. brutal reminder that borders on paper and control on the ground are very different things.

      UN Security Council Resolution 1701 (2006) called for a full cessation of hostilities between Hezbollah and Israel, a buffer zone free of armed personnel other than UNIFIL/Lebanese army, and disarmament of armed groups.

      Israel pulled out of Lebanon in 2006.

      Was Hezbollah disarmed by UNFIL/Lebanese army?

      Did Hezbollah leave southern Lebanon?

      Oh. Ya.

      Nope. And NOPE.

      UN peacekeepers have been stationed in Southern Lebanon for twenty fucking years now. Their job is supposed to be KEEP THE PEACE and ENFORCE UN resolutions.

      Did they stop Hezbollah?

      Nope.

      In fact Hezbollah started firing rockets at Israeli cities on October 8, 2023 from Southern Lebanon in sympathy with the Hamas attack the day before.

      And hasn’t stopped since. Going on 3 years now.

      UNIFL is just sitting there and watching Hezbollah fire rockets **from Southern Lebanon** at Israel.

      SO HERE WE ARE.

      And trust me Reddit.

      – Or if Hezbollah had taken over Belgium and **was firing rockets at Bonn, Düsseldorf and Berlin** and the UN & Belgian government **wasn’t doing a single fucking thing about it**. *Germany sure the fuck would as well.*

      Russia attacking Ukraine was a test of the “rules-based world order.”

      Nothing happened other than sanctions. And so they continued.

      You can draw a straight line between that and Israel attacking Gaza, Iran, and Lebanon.

      The USA attacking Venezuela and Iran.

      “Defence” now means “attack.”

      The amount of voting manipulation on this thread is amazing to observe. I wonder why everytime Israel is mentioned the bots and the vultures come in packs. It directly affects visiblity and it’s probably being spammed with reports aswell, that’s why it keeps getting blocked OP.
