Hope they get nothing out of this, and get their electricity prices jacked up.
We really should have mandated all wind farms to be part owned by the communities beside them. Yes in this case its just nonsense nimbys looking for a payout, but if we want near universal buy in then it has to give locals a monetary incentive.
Plaintiffs can’t even pay if they lost yet took action anyway?

I used to live 600m from this wind farm. Was absolutely grand, never had an issue.
There’s a wind farm near me and they built a hiking trail around it. About 20 large turbines and you can barely hear them as you walk around.
This seems like a stupid claim and it’s ridiculous it was awarded. Since when does owning a house give you a right to silence?
