look i don’t want to be mean or rude but like any law will it actually be enforced? i hope so it’s a good law but it won’t matter at all if enforcement is either lackluster or non existent at all

They were basically illegal already, this doesn’t change anything
This law should have been brought in (and actually enforced) years ago when that poor man got seriously injured when a scrambler landed on his head in a public park. Had that happened this poor girl would likely still be alive.
Better late than never I suppose.
On another note, the gardai are going to be pretty busy on Christmas mornings in certain areas.
As usual we wait until someone dies before actually passing a law, it will take someone important dying before they actually enforce it

4 lads on scramblers up and down our road probably every 2 days since that crash happened. I think they’ve actually started going more since it happened. This is just a way to pretend they care
