    1. From the article:

Netflix has quietly hiked its prices once again. The streaming giant’s most affordable, ad-supported tier now costs $8.99 per month, up from the previous $7.99 monthly subscription fee, Netflix confirmed to TechCrunch in an email.
The standard plan without ads also now costs $19.99 per month, a $2 increase from the previous $17.99 subscription fee, while the premium plan is also going up by $2 and will now cost $26.99 per month.

    2. I downgraded my plan. Will remove it completely. Most shows are shit anyways.

Feels like it’s every couple of months.

I’m pretty well setup for torrenting at the moment and generally just doing that. Though I also have Mubi because sometimes it can help inspire film choice.

So they couldn’t close the deal on Warner Bros as an excuse to raise prices, but said fuck it, let’s just raise prices anyways

Vote with your wallets, people. Keep paying for these garbage services, expect to keep paying more.

    7. As long as people keep paying, they’ll keep raising prices. It’s really that simple.

    8. I canceled like 3 price increases ago. I don’t know how people justify paying that much for one streaming service.

    9. Maybe it’s more expensive, but at least the fragmentation is still here. From a platform wanting to kill cable to a platform resembling one.

Netflix content sucks lately too. Nowhere near worth the cost of what they are charging

    11. They were gonna hike prices for having spent money on WB, but they increased them anyway for getting free money for attempting to buy WB.

      Make it make sense!
