      Just eat changed the way they display reviews a few months ago. You can’t read anyone else’s reviews anymore, so you basically can’t trust them at all.

      The enshittification continues unabated…

      At this point, I just treat all the reviews as suspect and the star ratings doubly so – Goodharts Law ruined them

      You mean to say that effective monopolies/oligopolies in their respective fields are exhibiting behaviours harmful to consumers. I’m shocked. Shocked!

      Reviews that don’t come from someone who has something to lose are shit.

      That’s basically all reviews, other than your mate telling you what lawnmower worked for him.
