What is really funny about this article is the MPs lawyer arguing the court should become involved because „Constituents are unable to contact their MP in the usual way.“
For context, Andrew Rosindell spent 21 months last parliament not attending parliament. During this time, there were times even his own office did not know where he was. He was effectively a ghost in his constituency – which was not helped by not living in the constituency.
This isn’t a government building, it’s a private building where the conservative trust has no legal duty of care for this MP and the judge also pointed out that the MP had given the party a 90 minute notice of his defection to reform UK. The very idea he thought he would get access to the building is ludicrous and not based on any legal precedent. This isn’t housing, it’s a place where the MP worked and the longer he manages without the security, the more it shows the court he doesn’t actually need it.
It’s comical that he thinks he still has access to it
The deformed delusion are strong with this one!!
You can’t dump your girlfriend then rock up in her bed unannounced! You can’t quit your job and turn up to your old desk on Monday morning. You can’t sell a car and drive it out of a car park next week. You can’t leave a football club and turn out as a sub in the next match.
I sincerely hope the judge allots 5 minutes for hearty laughter at the next hearing
