I expect that a French article about some French thing will be far more detailed and nuanced than the one in English Wikipedia. Especially politics and history.

Does anyone know how Wikipedia will find out if a content is human or AI?
If you know how LLM works, you know how to avoid all the typical LLM verbiage.
There is no way today to really ensure your text is /is not AI generated.
