You realize that UN decree calls for disarming Hezbollah south of the Litani right? And the most recent ceasefire agreed to also encorporated this component as well.

What’s UNIFIL doing these days? Are they still there?

Interesting watching all these people justify this in the comments. ‚Uhm but hezbollah.‘ Please stop.

Some people will fight back to defend or avenge being kicked out of their homes
Some Israeli settlers will move in without official permission but somehow still with IDF security
And suddenly Israel must again exercise its right to ‘defend’ itself, and its buffer zone needs a new buffer zone

If Mexico shot rockets into Texas every single day, would you think the US would do nothing about it?

This was Israel’s main plan with getting the war started. Israel occupies parts of Lebanon as Iran and USA fights against each other and world’s eyes are on Strait of Hormuz.

Worth mentioning that the UN is supposed to have demilitarized this part of Lebanon under resolution 1701 – signed in 2006.

I see that it also says on your map that according to the UN resolution, from the Blue Line to the Litani there is no military force except the Lebanese army. I don’t see that happening.
How is a country supposed to respond to this violation of the UN resolution, while it is being bombarded by Hezbollah missiles? Sit back and relax? I would love your answers.

Good. If the Lebanon government is too weak to get rid of Hezbollah, then Israel will have to do it.

Lebanon cannot secure their own territory from Iran proxies nor Israel. Very sad situation overall.

Israel is out of control. A rogue state. If they didn’t have the backing of the US they’d be demonised for thier crimes

UN resolutions and international law only work if they’re actually and consistently enforced.
The current developments in Lebanon are a great example. Hezbollah is a terrorist group that relentlessly breaks international law, and yet no international organisation has done anything meaningful to prevent or punish them for doing so. The Lebanese government isn’t able to and that means they’re apparently not to blame. So it’s up to Israel to defend itself, and then when it does what is required to do so, it’s „oh no you can’t do that“.
So then what’s the solution? Who is supposed to stop Iran’s proxy armies from waging a never ending war against Israel? How is Israel supposed to defend itself against terrorist organizations deeply entrenched in civilian infrastructure?
All I’ve seen for the past few years is a lot of condemnation without any proposed solutions.

All Lebanon needs to go is tell both Hezbollah and Israel to get out, in that order.
