Security guarantees only matter if anyone believes they’ll be enforced. And right now, trust in that region is basically zero.

      >The commander of the Revolutionary Guards naval force, who was responsible for the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, has been eliminated. This was reported by an Israeli source.

      That’s it. Literally. That’s the entire „article“.

    3. Israel’s decapitation strategy has been a colossal failure of military strategy that has caused a global energy crisis and made gulf states weary of their former allies.

      Well done Bibi.

They fundamentally do not understand how the revolutionary guard works if they think killing commanders will achieve any goals. Ironically Iran is far more decentralized and far less based around strong-men than either Israel or the US.

    5. so the orange moron is pretending to negotiate when his israeli masters are still killing iranian top figures. Ok, it will DEFINITELY work!

Ok, since he kept it closed all by himself, I guess it’s open again….

    7. Im sure the new commander will open the straits right away. Good job Israel.

Did thy also kill everyone else around him working to close the Strait of Hormuz in that attack?

Lmfao. Even if the closure was because of the Iranian navy, why would killing one leader change that? Also what navy? I thought trump sank all the navy already?

assassinating every officer in the Iranian military is one strategy…

Dumb news to try to make the people feel better.
So I guess now Hormuz is open and all is working….lol What a clown show.

IRGC is organised in semi-autonomous cells precisely so that a single decapitation strike cannot cripple it. That’s why its able to tank US air war in a way the Ba’ath party could not.

    13. So that means he can’t re-open it again, and the guy taking of his position will want to prove himself not to be „weak“… just great…

    14. I was told his navy was already at the bottom of the ocean? How was he closing Hormuz? 🤔

    15. I’m sure that the replacement is already lined up and ready to give the orders.
