  1. Every time I see this map, I think this would make a great Assassin’s Creed game.

woah. Is this like a period of time or literally the day(s) before the war’s official start?

The map uses meters. So they were all within a few hundred meters of each other.

In April 1913 Hitler moved to Munich.

Franz Joseph I. was most of the time at Schloß Schönbrunn on the outskirts of Vienna.

This map is absolutly bullshit and propaganda by the guys which Trotzky (Bronstein) and Freud belong to,

Old joke about Trotsky in Vienna:

Around 1914, Leon Trotsky used to frequent the same coffeehouse every day, basically using it as his office. He’d sit at a small, cramped table in the back, nurse two coffees all day, and write articles and letters to British progressive journals, which was his chief source of income.

The more pleasant and expensive tables out front on the Strasse were usually occupied by Vienna’s *intelligensia*, including a table of regulars who loved to argue about current affairs and politics. One day, one of them opined, “Mark my words, if the Tsar doesn’t do something soon about the economic plight of Russia’s workers and peasants, he’s going to wake up one morning witha revolution on his hands!”

A companion laughed heartily, and challenged, “Oh, really? And who’s going to *lead* this revolution of yours against the Tsar?” He jerked his thumb at Trotsky, quietly writing in his dark corner. “*Him?*”
