I used to work on the back end of one of these companies.

Absolutely indefensible business practices. They justify their middlemanning by making 20 something overworked coordinators juggle 500+ ALTs and pretending they do literally anything.
I actually get angry every time I think about my time there.

Seeing the spreadsheets of cities paying something like 4 million yen per year per ALT and those ALTs getting some pittence of 220000 yen a month as compensation. The rest of that money going to the shareholders. The company president didn’t even speak a lick of English and seemed entirely uncerned with the idea of education. He sure loved shooting shit with other CEOs as loudly as possible and how bothersome pregnant staff were though, that was one back and forth that stuck in my mind.

I remember during their annual business report meetings they mentioned how hard the sales staff, the training staff and the recruitment staff worked so hard and never ***even once*** mentioned the thousands of ALTs beneath them who keep their entire broken business model running mentioned.

I was starting to hate myself for even being a part of such a wretched organization so I quit.

    Disgusting vampires.
