      Here’s a crazy fucking idea. How about the POTUS listen to his own constituents instead of foreign autocrats putting money into his pockets? How about the POTUS keeps his own campaign promises to the American people? What the fuck happened to „No New Wars“?

      this entire war is just getting pushed by Saudi and Israel so they can establish complete dominance in th region. trump just wants a piece because he wants to be written down in history as the guy that took down iran and made america the unilateral leader in the middle east.

      he’s desperate for approval and the saudis and Israelis are using it to their advantage

      That’s one thing you gotta like about Trump.  He’s so stupid and reckless and unable to control himself with all the secret, inside knowledge he has, that he can’t help but just expose every corrupt, thing that he and everyone around him does.

      I don’t think that sabre-rattling a conflict with Iran is a wise idea for the Gulf States. Saudi Arabia has a relatively high Shia population particularly in the Eastern Province and Medina. During the Arab Spring, they revolted against the monarchy for enhanced political representation. I imagine if things escalated far with Iran, there could be some domestic blow back.

      It is a similar story for Bahrain. A corrupt Sunni Monarchy is ruling against Shia Majority Population. There is already unrest brewing there as well.

      Duh! Iran controlling the Straight and potentially taxing every vessel that goes through would be catastrophic for them.

      Iran would quickly become the richest Arab nation with the most influence. Trump really fcked up with this..

      Speaking from a western point of view, I struggle to think of a single person who has had a more harmful impact accross the globe than Trump has had, without having started a world war, that is.

      Saudi Arabia is the least trustworthy „ally.“ The morals of their leaders are opposed to western democracy, so the Saudi government can only ever be a situational ally. They would stab us in the back the moment it was no longer beneficial to them not to.
