Ok great
Just another Wednesday
at some point, when I have grandchildren, MAYBE then we’ll get a new bigger airport
Vergonhoso.
nice. always happy to see americans getting dunked like this. Hope you had a terrible experience!
yes. portugal is very bad. no need to come again. no worries. spain is very nice. enjoy. bye.
Calm down, it only took us 20 years to decide where to build the new airport, now we probably wait another 20 years for the construction to start and then another 20 to actually build it.
Then everything will be fine!
1:10? A new record.
If you waited 1 hour, then triple that: it’s the minimum time I always waited on the passport line in JFK…
Awesome! Hope it made your experience to come to Portugal a bit worse! 😀
If you are a Portuguese citizen and go to Miami this time of the year, it’s likely that you may have to wait up to three hours to go through customs.
So, 70 minutes is not that bad.
It’s a preview for your next outbound flight from the US
Sim e então? Queres uma palmadinha nas costas?
Just go back, we don’t want you here.
Why the amount of hate towards someone passing through? Have you guys never visited another country? Is this not a valid complaint?
As Portuguese, you’re trying your damn hardest to make the rest of us ashamed of our own countrymen
Ainda não está caro o combustível…
Please spread the word to everyone and tell them to never come here.
I couldn’t care less.
I mean, people are advised to be at the airport for intercontinental flights 3 hours earlier FOR A FUCKING REASON (universal rule, actually!).
pensei que estava no r/portugalexpats
I hear about building the new airport since i was 20yo. I’m 54 now…
So why are so many people going to the US all of the sudden?
I’m just here in terminal 2, passed passport control in less than a minute. Guess I just dodged a big bullet by choosing a low cost company 😬
Going to LA next week expecting to spend 2 to 3 hours getting through customs 💀
First time?
Oh no! Anyway
At which time this photo was taken? At morning or afternoon?
is this for luggage drop off or passport control ?
Complaining about people cutting when their flight is about to leave makes you the asshole. People have to go through that line when coming from connecting flights so it might not be because they decided to leave later for the airport.
Last time I was there, I was coming in from Porto and had a 3 hr layover. My flight was 2:30hr late so I went to the front of the line expecting them to let me through like they had at other airports where I had this happen. They bitched at me, but the people in the line were really nice and let me in along with others from my flight who had the same issue.
Don’t assume you know everyones story, because odds are you do not.
That’s the normal wait, so to be a big wait has to be more. For Lisbon airport standards
I’ll be flying out to the US on vacation later in April but I’ll be going out from Porto and though it’s my first time heading to the States and I’ll have to catch a connection in Madrid I’m positive lines here at the OPO are infinitely better than in LIS so I’d reckon having to take the connection is worth not dealing with this inferno lol. Experience will let me know for sure though.
Considering the experience ATM in America, I would say u got lucky.
The people detained by ICE have it worse
Pay your TSA agents
Who cares ? If it gives tourists and people thinking about moving here a bad experience then all the better.
…..and they’re checking people leaving Portugal…..🤣🤣
stay out. you’re not welcome.
Portugal is terrible. Don’t come!
