Submission statement:
Trump gave final order on Iran operation less than 48 hours after conversation with Israel’s Netanyahu. During that call they were both aware Iran’s leadership would convene for a meeting, making them vulnerable to a “decapitation strike”. Netanyahu, argued that there might never be a better chance to kill Khamenei and to avenge previous Iranian efforts to assassinate Trump. Sources say by the time the call took place, Trump already had approved the idea of the United States carrying out a military operation against Iran but had not yet decided when or under what circumstances.

This seems intentionally misleading from Reuters. Per the article the sources are saying Trump had decided to attack Iran already and that Netanyahu was arguing for a specific moment to launch the attack.
The headline makes it sound like Netanyahu convinced Trump to go to war with Iran, which is not what the sources say. (Im not even saying that’s implausible – but Reuters is bending their own source to give the impression it’s what they said).
