Was meint ihr?

That I never found that famous satoshi wallet that is used in these bizzare calculations if bitcoin goes to xx dollars satoshi will be the richest person on earth.
Peter Todd burned the keys for plausible deniability.
Money is easily traceable, not worth it to extract to some people. Maybe they thought the money is worthless so sending it to a dead wallet is a good wait to create deflation in the market. Who knows, rich people make jokes too, million dollars isn’t a lot of money anymore to the rich.
helping the network
He got it like that.
It’s the satoshi tax. Pay tribute or else I wake up!
Rich dude cryptobro probably lost a bet
Think he just got richer, and hodl
i know usually this is done with wallets set up as dedicated sinkholes for ops but maybe some entity was compromised and the attackers decided to use satoshis wallet as a statement or even just convenience? theres a ton of hacktivist activity going on right now hitting everything from a go kart track in Romania or something (cant remember the specific location) to Stryker.
Hypothetically, if someone found a seed phrase on the ground (exaggeration intended) and didn’t want to run the risk of getting tied up in something that might end up landing them in court, etc. Could that person retrieve the funds and send them to the burn wallet without any reason for concern?
Probably dumb question but, curious to know.
There’s a new floor.
People do crazy things in crypto but this is one of the craziest things I have seen recently
I think this thread happens once a month and you could probably find all the same hot takes in any other incarnation of it.
You gotta understand that these og whales are probably worth deca millions and probably at a point where all basic necessities are long taken care of. This is just a donation or for the thrill of throwing money away.
everything about crypto is shady and criminal
any other questions ?
I have to wonder if there are algos set up to short sell BTC if a large volume transaction involving this wallet ever shows up on chain? Maybe someone shorted and figured they could make more than 1.2 mil in profit by triggering those algos?
Really have no idea why else someone would do this
Address poisoning
You guys don’t have the same in your will?
Rich people flex in strange ways.
It’s a bro move to all other holders. Be happy this happened.
I don’t understand this flex. Someone elaborate.
Maybe an attempt to spark chaos by making people believe Satashi was still active?
Maybe it’s Satoshi consolidating his wallets
He set a World record. He actually bought something.
A failure? I doubt it… but that loss must have hurt 😌🔥💰
Maybe it’s Satoshi himself 👀
