This is how wars keep dragging on — for some actors it becomes an “opportunity,” while the real costs keep piling up. Everyone keeps looking at this through a western centric view and decrying the lack of a brilliant swoop victory by the US and Israel. The real game changer for Iran is that every nearby neighbor now hates them more than they did 10 months ago. That makes for a much bigger hole for the country to crawl out of with the existing regime.
