It saddens me to have to say it, but this article is well made and sourced. Shit. I can’t believe how this acquisition process is giving such bad result most of the time it is used. And this is not the only example, some are yet to surface. It’s not for lack of alerts and position-taking from the miliz side.
100% this was just supposed to be yet another appeasement to Trump as part of the tariff negotiations. Which have no been resolved, as it turns out he never had the power to set them anyway.
So now it seems there is a chance parliament might not approve it. So high time they do their job, kick this liability to the lives of our conscripts for decades to come out and do the reasonable thing: buy the Glock 45.
