Anyone thinking there’s a side there is truthful is not a very smart person at all. No entity involved at the governmental level is truthful. It’s just that certain governments are a bit less diabolical than others. For example: You can accuse the US of a million things, but i’d still rather live there than in Iran.

Perhaps it is just words to keep the oul price low, until the US have degraded iran enough that they can’t really threathen the Hormuz shipping lane. Should take them a month or two.
