      Having lived in a family with End Times S. Baptists these fuckers NEVER admit they’re wrong.

      I’m 47 and in my life time I’ve seen the „End Times“ at least two or three dozen times.

      Osama bin Laden is smiling up from hell. He wanted exactly this. He wanted to bring terrorism and martyrdom to the United States, not from outside, but to have it grow from inside. 

      I wish these people would go fulfill their own religious lunacy and leave peaceful sane people alone. 

      It’s school shooter culture. They fix nothing, they don’t want to better themselves, they just want to bring someone else with them as they give up their own lives in the name of delusion.

      The Bible says word for word that NO ONE will know when the end times will come. Christians in every century have thought the end times would come regardless because of the wars, plagues, famines, and climate disasters that continually occur, but humans soldier on.

      Also, I’m pretty sure it would be considered a grave sin by any rational interpretation of Christianity to deliberately cause violence and chaos in order to somehow artificially bring about an end times.

      I have an end times family member. We were chatting the other day. I said to her why of all times do you think Christ will come back now. She said all the strife and all the other things happening around us right now.

      I in turn said are the Jews not Christs chosen people? She said yes, of course! Then I said if he didn’t show up for the holocaust of his people? Why in the world would he show up now when a bunch of middle-class Americans are thinking that some discomfort will bring about his return? I got a blank stare, like literally broke her goldfish brain.

      I grew up in this environment. Being raised to prepare for a holy war. Being asked at 15 if I was ready to give my life for the lord. These people are so fucked in the head. Glad my sassy homosexual self got out of that.

      If you believe in the rapture you should be disenfranchised and ultimately institutionalized. I’m sick of pretending that these extreme delusions should be taken with even a nanogram of seriousness. You shouldn’t be allowed to vote on the future of a society you don’t believe will actually happen.

      Look, just in case they’re right, we should be on the lookout for the Antichrist. Someone who *checks notes* lies constantly, seeks unchecked power, starts wars, lets pandemic run over his people, causes economic collapse and civil strife.

      Oh, and his believers need to think he miraculously survived a wound somewhere to his head.
