I’d recognise Fate’s Scathach anywhere, this is absolutely AI.

Abysmal and insulting from the Irish embassy in China.

Would you ever get a grip.

Is this the most important thing going on in Sino-Irish relations right now?

People are busy. Its a 1 pager.

How was your free food and drink courtesy of the Irish taxpayer?

    3. Easy to die standing when a fella seemingly drives a spear through a standing stone first to pin you there like a butterfly in a display case.

    4. Yeah zoom in on the hands of the shocked aul fella and the soup tasting, shameful stuff, blatantly obvious

I often attend events where the cúpla focal are massacred on stage. These people don’t have the time to find out what it is they’re saying or how to pronounce it correctly. But the intention is to show some respect for the language and culture – while it’s clearly a token gesture, the Irish language community has largely agreed that these efforts are to be welcomed.

In the same way: this was an event in China, which I assume was neither organised by nor primarily marketed at Irish people. It probably wasn’t realistic to locate and pay an Irish artist to produce something of higher quality. It’s a gesture intended to display appreciation for Irish culture.

Why not accept it in that light? Or if not, what’s a feasible solution?

I know the warp-spasm is a real thing in the myth but it sounds like a 40k event lmao

Oh god, they stabbed him with the handle, not the spear end. I can’t imagine that was pleasant
