Ss: Israel said on Saturday that Iranian forces had for the first time fired long‑range missiles, expanding the risk of attacks beyond the Middle East, even as U.S. President Donald Trump said Washington was considering “winding down” its military operation against Iran.
Iran launched two 4,000-kilometer-range ballistic missiles at the U.S.-UK military base Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, Israeli military chief Eyal Zamir said.

Even if Trump wanted to wind it down I doubt Iran or Israel has any intention of doing so. If he tucked tail and left Iran would have likely have long term leverage over the region despite being militarily weakened.
The official said the U.S. wants Iran to make six commitments:
1. No missile program for five years.
2. Zero uranium enrichment.
3. Decommissioning the Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow nuclear facilities that the U.S. and Israel bombed last year.
4. Strict outside observation protocols around the creation and use of centrifuges and related machinery that could advance a nuclear weapons program.
5. Arms control treaties with regional countries that include a missile cap no higher than 1,000.
6. No financing for proxies such as Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen or Hamas in Gaza.
The Iranian demands include a ceasefire, guarantees that the war will not resume in the future, and compensation.

If the US winds down then UAE as we know it will not be a thing anymore. Everyone I know is getting their money out Dubai right now because it makes no sense to be in a 20k per month appartment when you might get bombed at any moment and need to evacuate. When the US stops being a feared presence there, those who can will escape and a lot of people will lose a lot of money. Those 20k appartment will be listed at 2k or less.

Ok the US might want out but that doesn’t mean Iran or Israel does.
