Yisrael Beitenu isn’t “Russian interests”. Interests of Jews from the Soviet Union, sure, but not “Russian”.

Wait theres a Kahanist party with ~10% of the vote! I fear that the israelis have no place to lecture anyone on the topic of prejudice

I don’t understand, how is this supposed to enrage me?

Fuck Shas forever and ever. Israel would be such a better place if they hadn’t constantly been brought into government over the decades.

This is awesome! Where did you find the shapefile for precinct boundaries within the municipalities?

The map is fantastic, and I appreciate it. I don’t want to be an all negative guy on Reddit.
Two pieces:
I think it is hurt greatly by the quick ID’s of each party, not because it isn’t a good idea, but because it’s wrong. Religious Zionism is not Kahanist (or at least, if it is, that is a very controversial claim), and YB isn’t Russian Interests alone. The Arab parties are also partially distinct – Ra’am is Islamist, Hadash-(Ta’al) is leftist and Baathist, and Balad is just very violently anti-Zionist. (In all fairness, so are Hadash and Ta’al.)
It’s also not possible to see who wins second in a district, or if it’s close to the winner. It’s important because some areas really split votes heavily – lots of cities or localities don’t have one party get a majority.
Happy map-making.

Aren’t Arabs 20% of Israeli citizens? Why can’t they get more seats?

Many parties but >70% approval of what happened in gaza

Hadash is more like the oxymoronic Arab nationalist communists. Israeli politics make my brain hurt.

Hadash isn’t a strictly Arab party, they have a Jewish MK

Why are there seats within the west bank?

It would be great to see this in a red-blue spectrum, with generally more conservative parties on one side and more liberal parties on the other

I find it interesting how much more left-wing Haifa and Jerusalem are compared to Tel Aviv.
