      Hasn’t she been accused of evidence- and witness-tampering in the case involving her violent serial rapist son? I don’t know if I’d take her word on *anything*, up to and including what the weather is like today.

      The „Googled u“ part was in an email she wrote in 2011? And if so, she maintains she didn’t know he was a sex offender?

      Also, if something happened that made her feel uncomfortable – assuming it helps Epstein’s victims – why didn’t she report it to the authorities?

      It was not good enough.

      She certainly was manipulated, and only crazed conspiracy theorists imagine she was actually party to any of the pedo shit, but she’s still not a victim.

      She hung out with him, let him use her status, and it’s very hard to believe she can’t remember which “not good” things she found when she googled him.

      She insists on too large a “private sphere”, one she’s no longer entitled to after not being open about this originally. There are still questions she needs to answer, that are now in the public’s legitimate interest to know, she’s forfeited the right to keep the answers to herself.

      I don’t know this guys story at all, but the way honey pots likely work is you get sucked in and even if you partake or not they’ll want to get something compromising on you either way. I would not doubt the people who went to the island for a seemingly normal vacation were also setup so that incriminating „evidence“ existed against them for future blackmail purposes. Fall asleep? Girl sneaks into room, someone takes pics, bam. Blackmail.

      I am not at all dismissing people being gross pedos, just saying that honeypots for blackmail don’t care if you are guilty or innocent, just that they have leverage over you.
