Well, this could have some margin of error in the AI that could cause loss or gain if there is no human intervention to monitor it.

    2. Dynamic pricing is never going to be a thing, simply because they don’t know what the shelf price was when you picked up the item. You could get a doodad marked 2/$3 and wander the store for an hour before you check out.

Retailers also already do individual pricing. They have for decades. What do you think coupons are?

How long until the price at the pump varies depending on the vehicle you’re in, the plate #, etc.

    4. I generally know the cost of what I’m buying. I won’t buy OP stuff. I also have a phone to look up prices. Walmart can suck my dick tho, haven’t been there in over 10 years and don’t plan to be back.

Eventually it’ll get to guillotine time and I don’t really want that. It’s not good for anyone. Wish someone had some sense or ability to stop this kind of shit. Even the dimwitted sheep that make up 99% of America won’t stand this forever.

If I have money… and the fair price for something is $10 and you try to charge me $20 for that product I’m not going to buy it.

This should be illegal, and whoever green lights this should have spiders crawl into their mouth when sleeping.

I ordered a toy of tik tok shop and then I saw ads for the same toy half the price

Dynamic pricing needs to be straight up illegal immediately. Nip this shit in the bud.

    11. Oh they’re definitely already doing dynamic pricing. I’ve seen prices fluctuate in within minutes of me searching for something.

I watched the price on a Lego set jump between being on sale for around 50% off, only to see the price increase ten minutes later to 35% off. Same item, same day, stock level didn’t change… After about another 45 minutes the price went back down to its previous value.

Looks like I will be dynamically changing where I buy groceries once this goes into effect.

    13. Dynamic pricing is the dystopia where we all start burning everything to the ground.

well, it looks like the middle class can pay cash to ppl who has no income to buy their groceries for cheap, and the low/no income ppl have more opportunities to work under the table and pay no tax. take that stupid AI!!

The effort of corporate America to bankrupt consumers continues in full force.

Stop shopping at Walmart, they are ILLEGALLY putting the wrong weight on meats and charging more.

Don’t believe me next time take a piece of meat and weigh it before blindly paying. There has been quite a few YT vids on it and no one is enforcing any punishment on Walmart. They are just taking extra money from people’s pockets bc people blindly assume the pricing is right

Costco stock gonna keep going through the roof as the competitors keep shooting themselves in the foot

they already rolled out dynamic pricing disguised as „flash“ sales. prices are different at different times of the day and you also get a different experience when you don’t bring you phone with you.

    19. No need to concern. They’ll for sure implement more aggressive dynamic pricing to squeeze every dollar out of us.
