Is that number right? I’ve never seen the daily personnel losses anywhere near 1710. And numbers had been declining in recent weeks. Anyone know an explanation? Not complaining, Slava Ukraine!

It’s interesting how right after Ukraine announced their [goal was to increase the number of enemy casualties to 50,000 a month](https://www.cnn.com/2026/02/03/europe/ukraine-strategy-kill-50000-russian-soldiers-intl), the daily numbers dropped until today. I assumed it was due to thinning numbers in russia’s troops coupled with the harsh winter. Anyone else know why the numbers were smaller until today?

The kill number are higher because all those Russians hiding in bunkers and basements finally had to come out and take a pee.
