Warum reden Menschen über die Epstein-Akten, aber wenn es darum geht, den Opfern zu glauben, rationalisieren sie ihre Erfahrungen und glauben ihnen letztendlich nicht vollständig?

I along with many others believe there are some victims, but people would like to see proof for lots of reasons, one being that this was a very wealthy man which means there is a big financial incentive for women to jump on the bandwagon. I’m not saying all of them are financially motivated, but I would bet that a good percentage of them are.

People also wonder how many of them may have happily slept with Epstein/others to advance their careers. Some have even said that’s what convinced them to meet with Epstein.  How many „17 year olds“ went claiming they were 18?

Maybe some didn’t advance in their careers like they thought they would or maybe they just regretted doing it after the fact.  Who knows?

One things for sure though.  When there’s hundreds of millions of dollars involved, a lot of people will do some crazy things to get a piece of the pie.

History has also shown us that there are plenty of women out there who’ve falsely accused men of rape and put them in prison.  This is why you shouldn’t automatically take people’s accusations as fact without any evidence.

I think it’s pretty obvious. The victims have spoken. And they all have similar stories. It speaks to MO.

I haven’t heard a single person discuss it and doubt victims.

I’m moving in normal circles. With normal people. Occam’s razor is a thing.

Fwiw it’s ironic that people are suggesting a paedophile is being taken advantage of by fake victims.

Where were they when the paedophiles were taking advantage of victims.

I know which violation I find abhorrent and unspeakably vile.

    3. And why, after so much has already come out, we are doing nothing.  Europe is at least making people resign and the UK is finally prosecuting Andrew.

Some people just need to believe all women are lying. Other people can’t wrap their heads around the heinousness of the crime and decide it’s not possible. More are willing to accept and forgive the men because of the perceived size of their bank accounts and nothing else.

It’s why so many people can’t seem to wrap their heads around the fact that no one defends Clinton when they shove him into the mix. The people who expect defense of Clinton think as I described above. They cannot fathom a world where people believe women don’t lie constantly to hurt poor, innocent men, recognize that pedophilia is an actual thing that happens in real world and not just in media and true crime podcasts, and don’t give one half of a shit how big a bank account is — crime is crime is crime.

it’s because society refuses to believe women when they speak out about something

The Epstein files revealed that he put a lot of money into online perception management. Those businesses don’t have just one customer and weren’t created just for him. There are wealthy people who have an interest in discrediting the survivors. They are trying to manipulate the story to make it less horrible.
