America really hates data centers. While the rise of grassroots data center opposition makes compelling evidence on its own, a new survey by the Pew Research Center shows just how bad the tech industry’s PR problem really is.

Some articles about the public sectors concerns and aversion to data centers.
Too bad for them Republicans don’t care what they think and will happily make it against the law for cities to ban them. Also too bad as they will continue to elect these same Republicans anyway because they are racist morons.

Moratorium on data centers and AI in general, Bernie’s calling for it, I’m calling for it.
Ohio needs this to stop right now as we weigh the priorities and out corruption.
These systems cannot be under the control of a fascist regime. More importantly the people of this state have the right to have a say in their future. A clearly worded ballot measure would be a wonderful start. But we’ve also got to stop the misinformation.
Another issue still. Our healthy land is one of the largest draws and boons of this state. These centers as currently designed will ruin that.
Edit: An Ohioan who is in a city where the waiting list to even speak at a town hall is months long and purposefully a pain in the ass. Whom has a governor mired in multiple corruption scandals… in a state infected by a close friend of Epstein’s billions.
Our state is trouble on multiple fronts. Check out what they’re trying to do with property taxes for instance. The blatant attack on education is by far the most egregious and sets the field for future abuse with a seriously hampered ability to resist.

Fuck data centers and the tech bros. They bring nothing to the table and force the working class to subsidize their enormous electrical and water needs. Everyone needs to rise up and hold firm in opposition. The AI bubble will burst and hopefully take out some of these predatory companies.

I like to apologize to all here. I am very ok with differences in opinion, and I fully encourage good healthy debates. I was a little short with the person commenting a bit ago, as my patience runs thin when inaccurate assumptions are made and then used as if it’s been proven somewhere else other than they’re mind.
I didn’t want my interaction to deter anyone from speaking up.

Data centers are the key infrastructure for AI and mass surveillance.
Literally no one outside of the Epstein class actually wants them to exist.
